Adjacent to the bathroom is the shower. In Japan you are supposed to clean yourself first in the shower portion and then soak in the really deep bathtup portion. Rebels that we are, we only use the shower. It was covered in mold when we got here and the OCD side of me scrubbed the cracks clean with a toothbrush.
